  Biotronics was founded in the early 90s by an entrepreneur. He is a graduate in Telecommunication Engineering who in his initial stage of life was a service engineer of 3M Corp.USA. Biotronics later converted into a private limited firm in the name ORB Biotronics Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2002. The company is headquartered in Kolkata and has a wide spread network in neighbouring states of Orissa, Jharkhand & Bihar. It has its international network in Bangladesh, Nepal & Bhutan. The company deals with several world renowned surgical equipment manufacturers and is a trusted name in healthcare industry.
